Required qualification

Candidates applying for the job should have a degree in Mining Engineering with at least 60 percent marks from a recognised university or institution and with first class Mine Manager's certificate of coal.

Work experience

Candidates should have through work knowledge of open cast / underground coal mines with more than 20 years relevant experience. He/She should be fully conversant with technical, legal and safety aspects of mining in the area of Mine Development/Operation & Maintenance of coal mine and associated policies/ regulations and legal aspects. He/She must have experience in development of coal mines and handling large contracts.

For Govt/PSU candidates

The candidates must have a minium eight years of experience in the post and scale of Rs 1,20,000 - 2.80,000 or above or equivalent scale.
