Anupam Ban set to be next Director (Personnel) of RVNL
New Delhi: Anupam Ban is set to be the next Director (Personnel) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways. She has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Wednesday. Presently, she is serving as Executive Director (HRD) in the same organisation. Previously, she had also worked with IRCON as Executive Director (HR).
Anupam has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of RVNL from a list of four candidates. The following candidates were interviewed by the PESB selection panel: Vikas Awasthi, Executive Director from RVNL; Manas Kaviraj, Executive Director from NBCC and Pawan Kumar, Chief General Manager from SAIL.
As Director (Personnel) of RVNL, Anupam will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). She will be head of the Personnel Division and will be responsible for the formulation and execution of personnel policies for the organisation.
RVNL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Indian Railways. The company is involved in building the rail infrastructure required by the railways.
