Arti Sharma (IAS) appointed as Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Corporate Affairs

New Delhi: Arti Sharma (IAS) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Sharma has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs under the central staffing scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She was recommended for the central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs. "She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs," the order further read.

Arti Sharma is a 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. She is currently serving as Deputy Commissioner at South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC)

Sharma is a 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. Presently, she is serving as Deputy Commissioner at the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC). She joined Civil Services in 2010 and served various important positions in her home cadre as well as in the centre. Prior to joining as Deputy Commissioner at SDMC, she was serving as Deputy Commissioner at the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC).
