AWES online recruitment 2019: Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has invited job applications for the posts of TGT, PGT, PRT teachers in army schools, located in various cantonments and military stations across in India. Candidates who are eligible and interested in these jobs can apply before September 22.

Educational qualifications

For postgraduate teachers (PGT): Candidates should be post graduates in relevant subject with minimum 50 percent marks and also should have completed B. Ed. with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognised college or university.

For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Candidates should be graduates in relevant subject with minimum 50 percent marks and also should have completed B. Ed. with minimum 50 percent from recognised college or university.

For Primary Teacher (PRT):  Candidates should be graduates in relevant subject with minimum 50 percent marks along with B. Ed. with 50 percent marks or two years diploma in relevant subject from recognised college or university.

Selection procedure: An 'online screening test' will be conducted on October 19 and 20, for vacancies that will arise during the ensuing academic year. This shall be conducted online by an agency identified by HQ AWES centrally, to ensure uniform quality of teachers in all Army Public Schools. Those who qualify in this stage will be given a scorecard which shall be valid for life, provided the candidate picks up a teaching job within three years from the date of passing the screening exam in any CBSE-affiliated school for a continuous duration of at least one year.
