Ganeshan brings with him deep knowledge, hands on exposure and extensive experience of over three decades in developmental consultancy in the fields of rural development, agriculture and other social sectors

B. Ganeshan has taken charge as the Managing Director of AFC India Ltd, which was formerly known as Agricultural Finance Corporation. Prior to his appointment Ganeshan was working as OSD in the ministry of finance, Govt of India. He has served with NABARD for over 22 years as well as various ministries of GoI viz. Ministry of Power, Ministry of urban development and poverty alleviation, Ministry of road transport and highways, Ministry of shipping and other premier national level institutions in various administrative capacities. He also had a stint as Regional Manager in Agriculture Insurance Co. of India (AIC), an apex institution established by Govt. of India, leading four important states viz. Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
Ganeshan has either been a project director or team lead in more than 100 consulting projects in diverse areas in agriculture, supply chain integration and agri-business development, Horticulture, rural infrastructure development, financial inclusion, micro-finance, micro enterprise development and training & capacity building.
