New Delhi: B Kasiviswanathan has assumed the charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of ITI Limited on Wednesday. Prior to taking over the present assignments at ITI Limited, Kasiviswanathan has served as Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board, Bangalore for more than five years. According to an earlier order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed as CVO of ITI Limited for an initial period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Profile of B Kasiviswanathan

Kasiviswanathan is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer of the 1991-batch. He is a gold medallist in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. He started his career with Bharat Electronics Limited followed by Indian Ordnance Factories Services before joining the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME).

Kasiviswanathan has around three decades of professional experience in diverse fields like rolling stock maintenance, project management, system study & optimisation, material management, finance & costing, human resource management etc.. As nodal Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board, Bangalore, successfully planned, scheduled and coordinated the world’s largest computer-based test for 2.37 crore candidates across the country and developed a comprehensive end to end online indenting & recruitment management system and implemented successfully on Indian Railways.
