Bank officials reshuffle: Here’s the list of new ED of various banks

In a major bank officials reshuffle, the ACC has approved Executive Director (ED) level appointments in the various PSU banks
New Delhi: In a major bank officials reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following Executive Director (ED) level appointments in various state-run PSU banks. Here’s the full list: 1. Sanjay Kumar has been appointed as Executive Director (ED) of Punjab National Bank (PNB). He is currently serving as Executive Director in the United Bank of India. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed for a period with effect from April 1, till the expiry of his current term as ED of United Bank of India i.e. September 19, 20121, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 2. Vijay Dube has been appointed as Executive Director of Punjab National Bank (PNB). He is currently serving as Executive Director in the Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC). According to the order, Dubey has been appointed for a period with effect from the April 1, till the expiry of his current term as Executive Director of Oriental Bank of Commerce i.e. October 31, 2021, or until the further orders, whichever is earlier. 3. Ajit Kumar Das, who is currently serving as Executive Director (ED) in the United Bank of India (UBI), has been appointed as Executive Director (ED) of Punjab and Sind Bank. According to the order of Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed for a period with effect from April 1, till the date of his superannuation i.e. March 31, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. With his new assignment, Das will replace Govind N Dongre. 4. Birupaksha Mishra, who is currently serving as Executive Director (ED) in Corporation Bank, has been appointed as Executive Director of Union Bank of India. According to the order, Mishra has been appointed as ED of Union Bank of India for a period with effect from April 1, till the date of his superannuation i.e. October 31, 2020, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 5. Krishnan S, who is currently serving as Executive Director (ED) in Syndicate Bank, has been appointed as Executive Director of Canara Bank. He has been appointed as ED of Canara Bank for a period with effect from April 1, till the expiry of his current term as ED, Syndicate Bank i.e. October 31, 2020, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 6. K Ramachandran, who is currently serving as Executive Director (ED) of Allahabad Bank, has been appointed as Executive Director of Indian Bank. He has been appointed as ED of Indian Bank for a period with effect from April 1, till the date of his superannuation i.e. June 30, 2021, or until the further orders, whichever is earlier. 7. Ajay K Khurana, who is currently serving as Executive Director of Syndicate Bank, has been appointed as Executive Director of Bank of Baroda. He has been appointed on the post with effect from April 1, till the expiry of his current term as Executive Director of Syndicate Bank i.e. September 19, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 8. PR Rajagopal, who is currently serving as Executive Director (ED) of Allahabad Bank, has been appointed as Executive Director in Bank of India. According to the order, he has been appointed on the post for a period with effect from the date of assumption of the office till the expiry of his current term as Executive Director of Allahabad bank i.e. February 28, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. With the assumption of charge new post, Rajagopal will replace Atanu Kumar Das.
