BEL lauded for procurement from women-run MSMEs

New Delhi: The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has acknowledged the efforts by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) in the implementation of the Public Procurement Policy of the government. Navratna Defence PSU BEL has been conferred a Certificate of Appreciation for the highest procurement amongst Navratna CPSEs from women entrepreneurs under the MSME category during the financial year 2021-22. The award also acknowledges the efforts taken by BEL towards the mandate of implementation of the Public Procurement Policy of the government.

The award was conferred on BEL during the CPSE Conclave on Public Procurement Policy organised by the MSME, on November 18, 2022, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The CPSE Conclave was inaugurated by Minister of State of MSME Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma. The theme of the conclave was ‘Resilience to Resurgence.’

The award was received by BEL’s Additional General Manager (Management Services) Manoj Yadav, on behalf of BEL.
