New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), the Navratna Defence PSU, is set to observe Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 from October 31 to November 6. On this occasion, BEL is going spread awareness about corruption and corrupt practices across its units, SBUs and other offices in various states.
BEL urges everyone to take vigilance pledge
BEL has proactively raised its voice against corruption and has invited everyone to take the Vigilance Pledge on the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) portal. The theme for this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week is “Corruption-free India for a developed nation.”
The observance of Vigilance Awareness Week is part of the multi-pronged approach of the Central Vigilance Commission. The Commission encourages all stakeholders to collectively participate in the prevention of, and fight against corruption. Also, it seeks collaborative efforts from all organisations to raise public awareness regarding the existence, causes and gravity of and the threats posed by corruption.
