BEL wins 3 Governance Now PSU Awards

BEL has been conferred with "PSU Awards" in Research & Innovation, HR Excellence and Geo-Strategic Reach categories at 7th Governance Now PSU Awards function held in New Delhi recently
New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), under the Ministry of Defence, has received three ‘Governance Now’ Awards' at 7th Governance Now PSU Awards function held in New Delhi recently. BEL has received these awards for Research & Innovation, HR Excellence and Geo-Strategic Reach category. The awards have been received by BEL's General Manager (Central Marketing) Ranjan Banerjee and Senior Deputy General Manager (Central Marketing) Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, on behalf of BEL from the Minister of State in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal Shailesh Lodha (An actor and writer) at the awards function held on February 19. The Governance Now Awards recognises the efforts of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) that have been key to the country’s growth.

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is a state-owned aerospace and defence company with about nine factories and several regional offices in India. The organisation is owned by the government and primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for the Indian Armed Forces. BEL is one of nine PSUs under the Ministry of Defence of India. It has been granted Navratna status by the government.
