ACC appoints G Narendra Kumar (IAS) as DG of NIRD & PR, Pramod R Datar as MD & CEO of CERSAI

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of G Narendra Kumar (IAS) as Director General of National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRD & PR). Narendra is a 1989-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh- Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories) cadre. He is currently serving as Principal Secretary to the Government of NCT of Delhi. He has held the post of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) and Principal Secretary (Elections) of Delhi.

Promod R Datar appointed as MD & CEO of CERSAI

Further, ACC has approved the proposal for appointment of Pramod R Datar as Central Registrar and Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD &CEO) in the Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest (CERSAI). He is currently working as General Manager in the Bank of Maharashtra. CERSAI is a government company licensed under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. The object of the company is to maintain and operate a registration system for the purpose of registration of transaction of securitisation, asset reconstruction of financial assets and creation of security interest over property.
