ACC approves 16 Joint Secretary-level appointments across Ministries and Departments

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a series of Joint Secretary and equivalent-level appointments across various ministries and departments of the Government of India.

According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the following key appointments have been made:

Sonat Bajaj (IRS; C&IT:1998) has been appointed as Director (Finance), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL), under the Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai.

Jai Prakash Pandey (IRPS; 2003) will serve as Joint Director General, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, for a combined tenure of seven years up to February 20, 2027.

Brij Mohan Mishra (IAS; UT:2008) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, vice Amitabh Kumar.

Neeraj Kharwal (IAS; UD:2007) will serve as Managing Director of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), under the Department of Commerce.

Sudeep Shrivastava (IRSSE; 2001) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, vice Shri Amod Kumar.

Siljo VK (ISS; 2004) will take charge as Deputy Director General, UIDAI, under the Ministry of Electronics & IT, vice Manish Bhardwaj.

Manish Tiwari (IRTS; 1995) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Warehousing Development & Regulatory Authority (WDRA), under the Department of Food & Public Distribution, up to his superannuation in September 2029.

Lokesh Kumar Sharma (IOFS; 1998) and Hema Jaiswal (ISS; 2004) have been appointed as Executive Directors, Food Corporation of India (FCI), under the Department of Food & Public Distribution.

Harsh Mangla (IAS; JH:2008) will serve as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, vice Latha Ganapathy.

Gaya Prasad (ISS; 1996) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs.

Shruti Singh (IAS; PB:2004) will assume charge as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, vice Garima Singh.

Roli Shukla Malge (IA&AS; 2002) has been appointed as Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA & CAO), Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, vice Shri Sanjay Pandey.

Rajendra Kumar Agrawal (IRPS; 2000) has been appointed as Additional Secretary (JS level), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), under DoPT.

Jai Prakash Shivahare (IAS; GJ:2002) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), by temporarily downgrading a vacant Additional Secretary post.

Vikas Gupta (IAS; HY:2001) will serve as Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), under the Department of School Education & Literacy, vice Nidhi Pandey.

The appointments will take effect from the respective dates of assumption of charge and will be for prescribed tenures or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
