ACC approves Anirudh Yadav’s appointment as OSD to Manohar Lal

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Anirudh Yadav, a private person, as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister Manohar Lal, who holds the Housing and Urban Affairs and Power portfolios.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on October 2, 2026, Yadav will be appointed on a contract basis at the level of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

His appointment will be for a period of four years from the date he assumes charge. However, it will be on a co-terminus basis with the Minister, or until Yadav ceases to function as OSD to the Minister, or until further orders, whichever occurs earliest.
