New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday has approved the appointment of six IAS officers on the Secretary level in various Ministries and Departments. Here is the full list:
Manoj Kumar Parida (IAS) has been appointed as the Chairman of the National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC). Parida is a 1986-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. He is currently serving in his home cadre.
Renuka Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Kumar is a 1987-batch India Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. She is currently serving in her cadre state in Uttar Pradesh. She has been appointed in place of Pramod Kumar Das, who superannuates on June 30.
B Anand (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare under the Ministry of Defence. He has been appointed to the post in place of Ravi Kant (IAS), who superannuates on June 30. Anand is a 1987-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Tamil Nadu cadre. He is currently serving as Secretary in the National Commission for Minorities under the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
SK Dev Verman (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the National Commission for Minorities under the Ministry of Minority Affairs. He has been appointed to the post by temporarily upgrading the post in place of B Anand (IAS), who has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare. Verman is a 1988-batch Indian Administrative Service Officer (IAS) of Manipur cadre. He is currently serving as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Indevar Pandey (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development upon the superannuation of Ram Mohan Mishra (IAS). Mishra is a 1988-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the West Bengal cadre. He is currently serving as Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Department of Pensions & Pensioners Welfare.
Sanjay Kumar Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Department of Pensions & Pensioners Welfare in place of Indevar Pandey (IAS) upon his appointment as Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development. Singh is a 1987-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He is currently serving as Special Secretary in the Department of Agricultural Research & Education & Secretary, Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
