New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a wide-ranging reshuffle and appointment of 48 officers at the Joint Secretary and equivalent level across various ministries and departments on Monday.

The appointments, cleared under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), include postings across critical sectors such as defence, finance, infrastructure, health, environment, and commerce.

Here is the full list:

Among key appointments, Kapil Meena has been named Managing Director of the National Horticulture Board, replacing B. Srinivas, while the earlier appointment of Satyendra Singh has been cancelled.

G Venkatesh has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, succeeding Deepak Mishra. Priyanka Das will take over as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, replacing Shobhit Gupta.

In the commerce sector, Jawahar Packirisamy has been appointed Chairman (JS level) of the Marine Products Exports Development Authority, replacing Dodda Venkata Swamy.

The Defence Ministry sees multiple appointments, including Preeti Meena, Shailesh Kumar Chourasia, and Vinod Kumar as Joint Secretaries. Additionally, Ajeet Kumar Srivastava has been appointed as Additional Financial Adviser and Joint Secretary, replacing Vedveer Arya.

In the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Vipul Aggarwal has been appointed as Joint Secretary, succeeding Shantanu.

Key appointments in the finance domain include Sakshi Mittal and Laya Madduri as Joint Secretaries in the Department of Economic Affairs, while Chaudhari Uday Gaurishankar has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

In the fertiliser sector, Bandana Preyashi has been appointed as Joint Secretary, replacing Aneeta C Meshram.

At Food Corporation of India, Venkata Nagi Reddy Kovvuri has been named Executive Director (General), succeeding Sachindra Kumar Patnaik.

In the health sector, Muthukumar Alagumuthu and Prabhakar have been appointed as Joint Secretaries, replacing Ankita Mishra Bundela and Vijay Nehra respectively.

The Ministry of Home Affairs will see Mahatme Sandeep Namdeo and Rakesh Rathi as Joint Secretaries, while Karma R Bonpo has been appointed Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration in Sikkim.

In labour-related appointments, S Tejaswi Naik has been named Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, while Shakil Alam has been appointed Additional CPFC (HQ) in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, replacing Bhaskar Choradia.

Further, Parikipandla Narahari has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Department of Land Resources, replacing Kunal Satyarthi, while Ramesha G has been appointed Incharge (JS level) of the Central Agency Section in the Department of Legal Affairs.

In other key appointments, Kulveer Singh Yadav (Mines), Mohammad Afzal (Minority Affairs), Anupam Kumar (New and Renewable Energy), and Pradeep Singh (Adviser, NITI Aayog) have also been appointed.

At the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Shanmuga Priya Mishra and Ganesh Shankar Mishra have been appointed as Joint Directors.

In DoPT, Harmit Singh Pahuja has been appointed as Joint Secretary, while in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Venkatesapathy S and Praveen P Nair have been appointed as Joint Secretaries.

In the power sector, Pankaj Kumar has been appointed as Joint Secretary, while Hardik Satishchandra Shah has been named Private Secretary to the Prime Minister at JS level.

In the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Kajal and Sumeet Kumar Jarangal have been appointed as Joint Secretaries.

Rohan Chand Thakur has been appointed CEO of the National Land Monetization Corporation, replacing Vikas Anand.

Additional appointments include Shankar Lal Kumawat (Revenue), Udit Agrawal (Road Transport and Highways), Sanjay Chilwarwar (Social Justice), Saravanan M (Department of Space), and K Balaji (Telecommunications).

Further, Alaknanda Dayal (Textiles), Suvasish Das (Tourism), Pratima Satish Kumar Verma (NESTS), and Rashi Sharma (NMCG) have also been appointed to key roles.

The ACC order was issued by Manisha Saxena, Secretary to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet and Establishment Officer.

The large-scale appointments reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative leadership across ministries and accelerate policy implementation and governance outcomes.
