New Delhi: Chhavi Bhardwaj (IAS) has been appointed as Deputy Director (Senior) at Director-level in the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), she has been appointed to the post for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
Chhavi Bhardwaj is also a 2008-batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. Presently, she is serving as Managing Director of MP Metro Rail Corporation. Previously, she worked as an Additional Commissioner Tribal Development and has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, National Health Mission, MP. "She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in LBSNAA," the order added.
Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) is a civil service training institute on public policy and public administration in India. The academy's main purpose is to train civil servants of the IAS cadre and also conduct the Foundation Course of Group-A Central Civil Services.
