Govt extends additional charge of CMPFO Commissioner to Sajeesh Kumar N (IRTS) till Oct 31

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of additional charge of the post of Commissioner (Joint Secretary level), Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation (CMPFO), to Sajeesh Kumar N, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of the 2002 batch.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the proposal of the Ministry of Coal for extending the entrustment of additional charge has been approved for a period of six months from May 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026.

Sajeesh Kumar N is currently serving as Coal Controller in the Coal Controller Organisation under the Ministry of Coal. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Commissioner, CMPFO, until the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
