Inderjeet Singh (IAS) appointed as Director in Ministry of Culture
New Delhi: Inderjeet Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Culture on Friday. He has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Singh is a 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Rajasthan cadre.

Singh holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Princeton University. He received a Silver Award at the 27th National Conference on e-Governance in September 2024 for his work on the "Rajkisan Saathi Phase -II" project, according to The BuckStopper. His career in Rajasthan has seen him contribute to various sectors, including industrial development through roles with RIICO as it's Managing Director (MD). He has been recognized for his insights on digital transformation and Rajasthan's growth trajectory.
Prior to this central deputation, he served as the Special Secretary and Commissioner of the Department of Information Technology & Communication (DoIT&C) and Managing Director, RAJCOMP Info Services Limited, Jaipur in the Government of Rajasthan. He also previously held responsibilities as the Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board.
