Mayank Prabha Tomar appointed as Director in Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Mayank Prabha Tomar, an Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer of the 2009 batch, as Director in the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG), Delhi.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Tomar, who was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue, has been appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of five years from the date she assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

She has been directed to be relieved of her present duties immediately to take up her new assignment in the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, which functions under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.

The DARPG plays a crucial role in promoting administrative reforms, process simplification, and efficient grievance redressal mechanisms across various government departments.
