Nipun Jindal (IAS) appointed as Deputy Secretary in Department of Economic Affairs

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Nipun Jindal (IAS) as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Central Staffing Scheme. He is a 2014-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre. Presently, he is serving as Director of Department of of Digital Technology and Administration, Himachal Pradesh.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Jindal has been appointed for a tenure of four years from the date of assuming charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
