Parama Sen appointed as Additional Secretary in Department of Expenditure

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Parama Sen (IA&AS) as Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure under the Ministry of Finance. She has been appointed for an overall tenure of five years up to August 2, 2025, by temporarily upgrading one Joint Secretary level post of the Department to Additional Secretary level.

She has been appointed to the post in place of Annie George Mathew (IA&AS)

Sen is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 1994-btach. Presently, she is posted as Additional Secretary in the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) under the Ministry of Finance.
