PS Girisha (IAS) appointed as Director (Finance) at the Central Silk Board

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of PS Girisha (IAS) as Director (Finance) at the Central Silk Board, Bengaluru, on a deputation basis under the Ministry of Textiles.

Girisha is a 2012-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Girisha has been appointed to the Director-level post, which is a non-Central Staffing Scheme (Non-CSS) position, for a tenure of five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The competent authority has directed that he be relieved of his present duties immediately to enable him to take up the new assignment.
