Sonal Swaroop (IAS), Pooja Bhat (IDAS) appointed Directors in Drinking Water & Sanitation Department

The Centre has selected Sonal Swaroop (IAS) and Pooja Bhat (IDAS) for appointment as Directors in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation

New Delhi: The Centre has selected Sonal Swaroop, IAS (AGMUT:2012), and Pooja Bhat, IDAS (2012), for appointment as Directors in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.

According to the appointment orders, both officers will serve for five years from the date of assuming charge of their respective posts or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Swaroop was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, while Bhat was recommended by the Department of Defence.

The respective authorities have been asked to relieve the officers of their current duties immediately to enable them to take up their new assignments in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation.
