Sudhansh Pant (IAS) gets additional charge as Secretary of SC, Backward Classes Commissions

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the assignment of additional charge of the posts of Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) and Secretary, National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) to Sudhansh Pant (IAS).

Sudhansh Pant is a 1991-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Presently, he is serving as Secretary in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on September 1, the additional charge has been assigned with immediate effect and will continue until the appointment of regular incumbents or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
