Sudheer Kumar Singh (IRTS) appointed Director in Defence Ministry on Central deputation

New Delhi: Sudheer Kumar Singh (IRTS) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Defence under the Central Staffing Scheme. He is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of 2011-batch.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Singh, who was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Railways, has been appointed for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The DoPT has directed the Ministry of Railways to relieve Singh of his duties immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment in the Department of Defence.
