Sushant Sudan (IES) appointed as PS to SP Singh Baghel

New Delhi: Sushant Sudan (IES) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister of Slate for Health & Family Welfare, Prof. SP Singh Baghel in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Sudan on Tuesday.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Sudan has been appointed to the post of a period with effect from the date of date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period upto January 6, 2026 (i.e. for the balance period of his four years central deputation tenure) or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever event occurs the earliest.

The ACC has also approved the curtailment of tenure of Sudan as Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Sudan is an Indian Engineering Services (IES) officer of 2012-batch. Presently, he is posted as Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
