New Delhi: Vijay Kumar Goel (IRSME) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) on Tuesday. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Goel has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Goel is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) of 2009-batch. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Ministry of Railways. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region,” the order read.
"However, in view of declaration of election to the Lok Sabha, if the officer is on election related duty he may kindly be relieved after due clearance from the Election Commission of India to take up his new assignment in the Mb Development of North Eastern Region,” the order further added.
