New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) headed by the Prime Minister has approved the appointments of a number of bureaucrats as Secretaries in various ministries and departments on Tuesday. Here is the full list:

Tarun Bajaj (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance. Bajaj is a 1988 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre. He is currently serving as Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Ministry of Finance.

Ajay Seth (IAS) has been appointed as DEA Secretary in place of Bajaj, who was holding the post prior to being moved to the Department of Revenue. Seth is a 1987-batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. Currently, he is serving in his home cadre.

Gyanesh Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. Kumar is a 1988-batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Home under the Ministry of Home Affairs. With his new assignment, Kumar will replace RS Shukla (IAS), who set to superannuate on April 30.

Ali Raza Rizvi (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary of the Department of Public Enterprises under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. Rizvi is a 1988-batch IAS officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He is currently serving as Special Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. With his new assignment, Rizvi will replace Sailesh (IAS), who has been appointed as a Member of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).

Indevar Pandey (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances and Department of Pensions and Pensioners Welfare. Pandey is a 1988-batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He is currently posted as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region. He has been appointed to the post in place of Kshatrapati Shivaji (IAS), who superannuated on April 1.

Anjali Bhawra (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Bhawra is a 1988-batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre. She is currently serving as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. She has been appointed to the post upon the superannuation of Shakuntala D Gamlin (IAS) on March 31.

Jatindra Nath Swain (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Fisheries under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying. Swain is a 1988-batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre. He is currently posted as Managing Director (MD) of Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), a PSU under the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy.

Anil Kumar Jha (IAS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Jha is a 1988-batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. He is currently posted as Special Secretary in the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance.

The ACC has also approved in-situ up-gradation of the following officers to the level of Special Secretary in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India, as a measure personal to them, by temporarily upgrading the posts held by them: 

Anuradha Prasad (IDAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Anuradha is a 1986-batch Indian Defence Account Service (IDAS) officer. She is currently posted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Pramod Kumar Pathak (IFoS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy. Pathak is a 1986-batch Indian Forest Service Officer (IFoS) of the Kerala cadre. He is currently posted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy.

Jivesh Nandan (IAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Department of Defence under the Ministry of Defence. Nandan is a 1987-batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. He is currently posted as Additional Secretary in the Department of Defence under the Ministry of Defence.

Sanjay Kumar Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Department of Agricultural Research & Education & Secretary, Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Singh is a 1987-batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Agricultural Research & Education & Secretary, Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

K Rajeswara Rao (lAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the NITI Aayog. Rao is a 1988-batch IAS officer of the Tripura cadre. He is currently posted as Additional Secretary in the NITI Aayog.

SK Dev Verman (IAS) has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Verman is a 1988-batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre. He is currently posted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

Further, in a separate order issued on the dame day, the Government has approved the appointment of Mahatme Sandeep Namdeo (IAS) to the post of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Health. Namdeo is a 2010-batch IAS officer of the Tripura cadre. He is currently serving in his home cadre.
