New Delhi: Swachhta Pakhwada was organised in the company premises from August 16 to August 31 under the guidelines received from the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India at Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL), Jaipur.

'Swachhta Pakhwada' was formally launched by the REIL's Managing Director Rakesh Chopra on August 16 by administering the oath of cleanliness to the employees of the company, at the workplace through the virtual platform Zoom App in compliance with the guidelines issued under the Corona epidemic.

During the 'Swachhta Pakhwada,' Chopra advised all the employees not to use any type of single-use plastics in their daily life and in official or private activities, with the aim to preserve the environment along with the and called upon them, not to use it and stressed in motivating employees for cleanliness, so that the environment can be protected. In this sequence, he has made all the employees maintain cleanliness in the office by using recognised techniques such as '5S' (Listed, Set in Order, Shine, Standardization and Steady or Self-Discipline), cleanliness under better workplace Management in the office, while emphasising on the direction of sustaining the development and said that, if we keep our thinking and vision clean too, then we will be committed to working diligently towards our development.

Slogan competition on 'Swachhta' was organised during Swachhta Pakhwada. Banners, posters related to cleanliness awareness were displayed on the company premises, as well as the cleanliness of all water tanks located in the company was ensured. During this, a group of company employees took a round of the company premises as well as nearby areas and display banners, posters related to cleanliness campaign, cleanliness awareness. Simultaneously, for digitisation of records, all the old records were identified and sorted under the record retention schedule and their digitisation action was taken to make them more systematic.

Chopra informed that during the Swachhta Pakhwada, the Department which has maintained the best cleanliness in their working environment and the sanitation workers who have done excellent work in the field of cleanliness were selected, who would be honoured and rewarded suitably by the company.
