New Delhi: Airtel, one of India's leading telecommunications service providers, has secured the Cloud and Content Delivery Network (CDN) mandate from the Digital India Corporation (DIC) to support DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing), India's national platform for open education digital content, said the company in a statement. The DIC operates under the Ministry of Education.
Under this agreement, Airtel will serve as the trusted partner for managing DIKSHA's online platforms, including its mobile application and website, utilising Airtel Cloud, said the statement. This collaboration aims to make educational content easily accessible to students across the country, free of charge, in their preferred Indian language, it added. Particularly for students in remote areas, the DIKSHA platform will provide a seamless enrollment process. Airtel Cloud will also facilitate the migration of DIKSHA to Oracle Cloud and offer its managed services and CDN solutions, said the statement.
