

New Delhi: Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL), under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, organised a special programme in association with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) for the distribution of assistive devices to persons with disabilities at Barauni, Bihar.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the august presence of Giriraj Singh Union Minister of Textiles & MP, Begusarai; Rajneesh Kumar, Business Unit Head, Barauni & Vice President (Finance); GM, ALIMCO; senior officials from HURL and ALIMCO; along with other distinguished guests.
The initiative was aimed at empowering beneficiaries by providing essential assistive aids designed to enhance mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. The distributed devices are expected to significantly support daily activities and enable beneficiaries to lead more confident, self-reliant, and dignified lives.
