New Delhi: Power Grid's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) RK Tyagi met AIIMS's (Delhi) Director M Srinivas in presence of Vikram Singh Bhal ED (CC-CMG), AK Mishra, ED (NR-I) and A Nagaraju, ED (ESMD).
The meeting focused on collaboration to enhance CSR support for AIIMS, aimed at providing better services to poor and underprivileged patients through automation and improved facilities.
Power Grid as a responsible corporate citizen has already constructed Vishram Sadans at various hospitals all over India including AIIMS, New Delhi; KGMC, Lucknow, UP; IGIMS, Patna, Bihar; DMCH, Darbhanga, Bihar; GMCH, Guwahati, Assam; SSG, Vadodara, Gujarat; NIMHANS, Bengaluru, Karnataka and RIMS, Ranchi.
Power Grid has played an important role in the field of rural development, education, healthcare, skill development, environment, drinking water, water conservation and sanitation by contributing to economic and social development across the country with its CSR initiatives costing about Rs 1000 crores.
