New Delhi: Oil India Limited (OIL), a Navratna PSU and India's second-largest national exploration company under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, is running a project called 'OIL Super 30' under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. OIL Super 30 is a project under 'Development of Education' and is run in association with Centre for Social Responsibility & Leadership (CSRL), New Delhi under 'CSRL Super 30' initiative which coaches students of BPL families for admission to IITs and other premier institutions. This initiative of CSRL is now a Harvard Business School's case study. Harvard Business School is among the top business schools in the world.
Project OIL Super 30, has been instrumental in transforming the lives of hundreds of students from economically challenged backgrounds in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Rajasthan to pursue a career of their dreams in engineering. Currently, OIL Super 30 centres are run by CSRL in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Jorhat & Nagaon in Assam, Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh & Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
