REC commits Rs 2.01 crore for health equipment procurement in Raipur

New Delhi: REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power and a leading non-banking financial company (NBFC), has committed Rs 2.01 crore under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support the healthcare sector in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The financial assistance will be utilized for procuring essential health equipment for three Community Health Centres (CHCs) and the District Hospital in Raipur district. The project will be implemented by the District Health Society (DHS), Raipur.

A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has been signed on Thursday, between Chief Medical and Health Officer of Raipur Dr Mithilesh Choudhary and REC Limited Executive Director (CSR) Pradeep Fellows.

The initiative aims to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare services, particularly for underserved and vulnerable populations. By enabling faster diagnoses and timely treatment, the intervention seeks to ensure improved patient outcomes across the district.
