The agreement has been signed on Monday between REC's Executive Director (CSR) Pradeep Fellows and ITBP's Inspector General (Admin) SC Mamgain.

At the event, Pradeep Fellows shared his thoughts and said “By addressing the unique healthcare needs of these regions, we are not only supporting the brave ITBP personnel but also fostering a healthier, more resilient community. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to improving the lives of those who serve and protect us, as well as the communities they live in and thus make a meaningful difference in the health and well-being of these remote and often overlooked areas.”

The procurement and installation of advanced medical equipment in ITBP field hospitals at locations such as Leh, Itanagar, Dehradun, Lucknow, and Naryanpur will significantly enhance healthcare delivery. This initiative will enable faster diagnostics, better patient care, and timely medical interventions, especially in high-altitude and underserved areas, including those residing in Naxalite areas.

The improvements will reduce patient wait times, enhance critical care, and ensure the continuity of essential medical services. This means that both ITBP personnel and the local communities will have access to the quality healthcare they deserve, bringing peace of mind and better health outcomes to those living in these challenging environments.
