New Delhi: Director (Personnel) of RINL-VSP Kishore Chandra Das inaugurated skill development training programs as the Chief Guest at Indo-German Institute of Advanced Technology (IGIAT), an entity of the government of Andhra Pradesh functioning under the guidance of the Department of Industries and Commerce the state government of Andhra Pradesh).
RINL has extended financial assistance to IGIAT for the training of 60 unemployed youth in trades CNC machine operator (35) and welding technology (25). The institute has dedicated workshops for various trades such as motor mechanics, stitching and tailoring, welding, plumbing & fitting, electrician, AC repair, Building maintenance, solar workshop, besides canteen, library, etc.
Addressing the gathering of trainees, Das emphasized the need for the development of skills in both the chosen courses as the demand for skilled persons in said trades is huge. He also emphasized strict adherence to COVID-19 precautions such as wearing masks, regular sanitization and most importantly, social distancing.
The function also entailed the plantation of a sapling within IGIAT premises. Dignitaries present at the event included RINL's Director (Personnel) KC Das, IGIAT's Director B Vinod Kumar, IGIAT's Deputy Director B Narendra Kumar, RINL's General Manager (CSR) K Satya Narayana and RINL's Deputy Manager (CSR) Navya Luthra among others.
