New Delhi: D Venkateshwara Reddy (IRS) has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of BEML Limited under the Department of Defence Production. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for the appointment of Reddy as CVO of BEML on Friday. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Reddy has been appointed to the post for a period of for an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Reddy is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of the 1995-batch. He is currently serving as Additional Commissioner of Central Board of Exercise and Customs, Chennai.
