

New Delhi: State-owned defence manufacturer Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has secured orders worth approximately Rs 1,347.71 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the supply of missile-related systems and countermeasure equipment.

In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, BDL said the company has received orders for Helina launchers and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) valued at Rs 1,109.37 crore and Counter Measure Dispensing System (CMDS) LRUs worth Rs 238.34 crore. The aggregate value of the orders stands at Rs 1,347.71 crore (gross).
The company stated that the contracts have been awarded by HAL, a domestic defence and aerospace company. The orders are scheduled to be executed over a period ranging from 24 months to 60 months.

BDL said the detailed terms and conditions of the contracts remain confidential owing to national security considerations. The company further clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contracts and that the orders do not fall under related-party transactions.
