New Delhi/Hyderabad: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has announced the receipt of a significant contract worth Rs 2,095.70 crore from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of INVAR Anti-Tank Missiles to the Indian Army.

The order, classified as a domestic contract, will be executed over a period of three years, the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE and NSE. The terms and conditions of the contract have been kept confidential in view of national security considerations.

The Invar Anti-Tank Missile is a mechanized infantry weapon fired from the gun barrel of T90 tank to destroy armoured vehicles equipped with Explosive Reactive Armour. It is designed for integration with armoured platforms, enhances the Indian Army’s capability to engage and neutralize enemy armoured targets with precision. It

BDL stated that there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity and that the order does not fall under related-party transactions.
