

New Delhi: Navratna defence public sector undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) on Monday said it has secured additional orders worth Rs 569 crore since its last disclosure on December 12.
According to an official statement, the fresh orders span a wide range of defence and strategic equipment and services, including radars, tank overhaul systems, communication equipment and fire control systems. BEL has also received orders for simulators, antenna stabilisation systems, security software, components, upgrades, spares and related services.
BEL manufactures state-of-the-art electronic products and systems for the Army, Navy and the Air Force. BEL has also diversified into various areas like homeland security solutions, smart cities, e-governance solutions, space electronics including satellite integration, energy storage products including e-vehicle charging stations, solar, network & cyber security, railways & metro solutions, airport solutions, Electronic Voting Machines, telecom products, passive night vision devices, medical electronics, composites and software solutions.
