
New Delhi: BEML Limited, a leading multi-technology company under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has been conferred with the National Award for Outstanding Export Performance at the 55th EEPC India National Awards 2025. The award ceremony was held in Mumbai on June 21.
The recognition was presented by the Minister for Information Technology & Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra Ashish Shelar and was received on behalf of BEML by the Head of the International Business Division Jitendra Kumar.
The award celebrates BEML’s robust contribution to India’s global trade during FY 2022–23. In that fiscal year alone, the company exported 71 advanced machines to African nations, further consolidating its presence across international markets. BEML’s global footprint now spans over 1,400 units in more than 72 countries, with a strong presence across Africa, the Middle East, ASEAN, and SAARC regions.
From supplying equipment for harsh desert terrains in the Middle East to supporting mining operations in Africa, and from infrastructure development in Southeast Asia to strategic defence exports in South Asia, BEML continues to deliver on its promise of high-performance engineering on the global stage.
This national recognition underscores BEML’s unwavering commitment to the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. It also highlights the company’s focus on indigenous innovation, global collaborations, and the delivery of world-class products and solutions in the mobility, mining, and defence sectors.
