BEML secures Rs 184 crore order from HAL for LCH fuselage structures

New Delhi: State-owned defence and engineering company BEML Limited has secured a significant order worth Rs 184.25 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) for the manufacture and supply of fuselage aerostructures for the Light Combat Helicopter (LCH).

This information has been shared by the defence PSU in a regulatory filing to the stock exchnages on Tuesday.

Further, the company said the order is in the normal course of business. The contract is set to strengthen BEML's role in the domestic defence manufacturing ecosyste.

BEML is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence. It is engaged in the manufacture of a range of products for the defence, mining and construction, and rail and metro sectors.
