This partnership marks a significant step in addressing India's critical need for advanced dredging solutions. The development of high-performance amphibian cutter suction dredgers will play a crucial role in restoring power generation efficiency by improving water flow in reservoirs, ensuring safer navigation through enhanced waterway management, and mitigating urban flooding risks with better dredging and de-silting solutions. This initiative aligns with the Government of India's ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ vision, strengthening local manufacturing capabilities and reducing dependency on imports.

Roy emphasized the strategic importance of this collaboration, stating, "Our partnership with Dragflow, Italy, is a transformative step toward revolutionizing dredging solutions, not just for India but for global markets. By developing high-performance amphibian cutter suction dredgers, we are addressing critical challenges in waterway management, reservoir sustainability, and urban flood resilience. This partnership enhances power generation efficiency, strengthens navigation safety, and aligns with global sustainability priorities. Moreover, it positions BEML on the global stage for its engineering excellence."

Echoing this sentiment, Masotti said, "Signing this MoU with BEML marks a significant milestone for Dragflow, reinforcing our commitment to delivering cutting-edge dredging solutions through strategic partnerships. This collaboration not only strengthens our global presence but also drives technological innovation that will benefit the entire industry. At Dragflow, we believe that to effectively serve a market, it is essential to understand its unique challenges and foster local partnerships."
