New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd, a Navratna defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has paid an interim dividend of Rs 147.77 crore to its shareholders for the financial year 2025-26.

Of the total dividend, the Government of India’s share stood at Rs 110.09 crore. The dividend cheque was handed over to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh by GRSE Chairman and Managing Director Cmde PR Hari (Retd) in New Delhi on September 1, in the presence of Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, Defence Production Secretary Sanjeev Kumar and GRSE Director (Finance) Niranjan Bhalerao.

GRSE has declared an interim dividend of Rs 12.90 per equity share of Rs 10 each for FY 2025-26, compared with Rs 8.95 per share paid in FY 2024-25.

The Kolkata-based shipbuilder has maintained a consistent dividend-paying track record, having paid dividends to shareholders every year for the past 32 years.

GRSE Q1 net profit rises 44 percent to Rs 173 crore; revenue jumps 39 percent

The company had an order book of Rs 15,324 crore as of March 31, 2026, providing visibility for its future business growth. GRSE is engaged in the construction of warships and other vessels for the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.
