New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has reported a sharp 41.81 percent year-on-year rise in net profit for FY26, with profit after tax (PAT) reaching Rs 747.93 crore, its highest-ever annual profit.

According to compay, the strong bottom-line growth was supported by robust operational execution and higher revenues during the year. GRSE’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 7,002 crore in FY26, registering nearly 38 percent growth over the previous fiscal.

The company’s total income increased to Rs 7,276.54 crore, up 34.49 percent year-on-year, while profit before tax (PBT) rose 42.86 percent to Rs 1,004.70 crore. EBITDA also witnessed a significant jump of 41.47 percent to Rs 1,069.69 crore, indicating improved operational efficiency.

During the fourth quarter (Q4 FY26), GRSE posted a net profit of Rs 303.20 crore, marking a growth of over 24 percent compared to the same period last year. Quarterly revenue rose 29.06 percent to Rs 2,119.21 crore, while total income stood at Rs 2,190.37 crore.

Commenting on the results, Chairman and Managing Director PR Hari said FY26 was a landmark year for the company, with strong physical and financial performance. He noted that GRSE delivered eight warships during the year, equivalent to one vessel every one-and-a-half months, reflecting the company’s execution capabilities.

The defence PSU said it aims to sustain profitability growth through capability enhancement, adoption of new technologies, and calibrated diversification.
