

New Delhi/Hyderabad: State-owned aerospace major Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has signed contracts with Pawan Hans Limited for the supply of 10 Dhruv New Generation (NG) helicopters, along with associated spares and accessories, at an estimated value exceeding Rs 1,800 crore.
The contracts have been signed in Hyderabad, HAL informed stock exchanges in a regulatory filing on Thursday.
As per the agreement, HAL will supply 10 Dhruv NG helicopters to Pawan Hans Limited, a Government of India enterprise based in Noida. The execution of the contract is scheduled to be completed by 2027. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and falls under domestic procurement.
HAL clarified that the contract does not involve any related party transaction and that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in Pawan Hans Limited. The company also confirmed that the order has been awarded on an arm’s length basis.
The Dhruv NG helicopter is an advanced variant of HAL’s indigenous multi-role helicopter platform and is expected to strengthen Pawan Hans’ operational capabilities in civilian helicopter services across India.
