HSL inks strategic collaborations at Aero India 2023

New Delhi: Defence PSU Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) has signed eight strategic MoUs as part of the ‘BANDHAN’ initiative at Aero India 2023, Bengaluru to boost its capabilities in shipbuilding, ship repairs and submarine refit vertical of business and to explore synergies and partnerships for the niche market in India and neighboring countries.

HSL has signed MoUs with Tai Engineers India Pvt Ltd, SEDS, Santosh Offshore, Shree Refrigeration, Braithwaite & Co Ltd, MIDHAN, D’GIPRO Systems Pvt Ltd and Fincantieri.

HSL is also exploring non-defence shipbuilding and export markets and actively pursuing alternative business models for diversification aiming at self-reliance and has achieved 80 percent indigenization on its ongoing project of diving support vessels.

The company has undertaken significant reforms in all the facets in the past few years have propelled its growth and created a plethora of opportunities for MSMEs, is making ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ mission a success and continuously refining its processes to enhance its potential and technical capabilities. HSL employees are on a mission mode to create a ‘NEW HSL’, keeping in pace with developing ‘NEW BHARAT.’
