Q4FY23 results: BEL's net profit increases to Rs 2,986.24 cr in FY23

New Delhi: State-owned Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) recorded an increase in net profit from Rs 2,400.22 crore in FY22 to Rs 2,986.24 crore in FY23, registering an increase of 24.41 percent on a y-o-y basis. On a q-o-q basis, the company registered an increase from Rs 613.5 crore in Q3FY23 to Rs 1,382.01 crore in Q4FY23.

BEL's revenue from operations increased from Rs 15,368.18 crores in FY22 to Rs 17,734.44 crores in FY23, registering an increase of 15.39 percent on a y-o-y basis. On a q-o-q basis, the company's revenue from operations increased from Rs 4,153.12 crores in Q3FY23 to Rs 6,479.12 crores in Q4FY23.

Meanwhile, the PSU's total expenses increased from Rs 12,433.48 crores in FY22 to Rs 14,092.33 crores in FY23. On a q-o-q basis, the company's total expenses increased from Rs 3,405.52 crores in Q3FY23 to Rs 4,763.72 crores in Q4FY23.

Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.6 per equity share

Further, the company noted in a regulatory filing that "the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on Saturday, inter alia, has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.60 per equity share (60 percent) of Re 1 each fully paid-up for the financial year 2022-23 subject to approval by the shareholders in the next Annual General Meeting of the Company."
