Subrato Ghosh set to be next Director (Personnel) of GRSE

New Delhi: Subrato Ghosh is set to be next Director (Personnel) of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE), a PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager in the same organisation.

Ghosh has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of GRSE from a list of nine candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on March 14. Out of nine candidates, four candidates from GRSE, two candidates from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and one each from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Indian Navy and Rain Industries Limited.

As Director (Personnel) of GRSE, Ghosh will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in-charge of Human Resource Management & Administration functions and responsible for evolving and formulating personnel and industrial relations policies etc., as well as implementation.
