Sandeep Kumar Singh (IAS) appointed as Deputy Secretary in DoPT

New Delhi: Sandeep Kumar Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) under the Personnel Ministry. According to the Personnel Ministry order issued on Friday, Singh has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the DoPT under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period e for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Singh is a 2011-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. He is currently posted as Collector & District Magistrate – Dadra and Nagar Haveli. He was recommended for the central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Further, the government has also approved the appointment of Shelesh Nawal (IAS) to the post of Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary level) in the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA). He has also been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier. Nawal is a 2010-batch IAS officer of Maharastra cadre.
